The Chicago rapper, born Clint Massey, has been handed his punishment for a 2014 murder.

Rondo and his accomplice/label mate, Courtney Ealy, were found guilty for the first-degree crime after killing Javan Boyd in the Wentworth Gardens apartment complex in Chicago. It is reported that it was retaliation when Massey and Ealy approached Boyd while parked in the parking lot before shooting him seven times. To their surprise, part of the incident was caught on surveillance tape and Massey’s fingerprints were found on the vehicle.

Boyd, who was on duty waiting for a customer for a drive service, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Massey recieved 39 years, while Ealy got 38.
