Mass Shooting at LGBT “Pulse Nightclub” in Orlando Leaves Over 50 Dead & 50 Injured

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred inside of Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida last night.
Reports say there are 50 dead and 50 more injured from the shooting, and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has declared a state of emergency for the city and state.
The gunman, carrying a device thought to be a bomb and armed with an assault rifle and a handgun, opened fired when about 230 people were in the club. U.S. The gunman’s identity has been confirmed as 29-year-old Omar Mateen of Port St. Lucie, calling the attack a “hate crime.” Orlando Police Chief John Mina says Mateen took people hostage overnight between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
