In this new age of streaming we’re currently in, many records have been broken and milestones have been reached. This week is no different, especially for Chicago’s own Chance The Rapper.

Last Friday (May 13), Chance dropped his long-awaited third project Coloring Book exclusively on Apple Music. The mixtape has not been made available any other place and more importantly is not being sold in any shape or form. Regardless of that, with this week’s HDD projections rolling in, it appears Chance is going to earn himself a top 10 spot on the Billboard 200 chart moving between 40,000-50,000 streams.

But that’s not all. Chance’s mixtape will also set a new record becoming the first artist to have an album chart solely off of streams. Incredible, and game-changing, to say the least.

Stay tuned to see what the final numbers for Chance’s album ends up being. We’ll also be on the watch to see whether Beyonce or Drake earn this week’s number 1 spot with their respective new albums.
