Just after issuing a public apology to Andrew Farrell and his family, 50 Cent is following up with a generous donation to Autism Speaks.

The East Coast rapper has donated $100,000 to the charity in an attempt to make amends with the teen and his family who found his actions unacceptable.

50 took it upon himself to address the situation by saying, “I want to turn this misunderstanding into an understanding. There are people that are ignored, mistreated and neglected with disabilities that need our support.”

He added, “I am calling on my fellow musicians, actors, entertainers and all others who may not have fully considered this cause to join together to help in any way they can.”
