Queen Bey kicked off her anticipated “Formation World Tour” last night (April 27), in Miami, Florida.

The 34-year-old who has been making headlines for the past couple of days played tribute to the late-great Prince with several songs.

Yoncé played his 1984 smash-hit “Purple Rain,” while she did a wardrobe change backstage. The entire screen turned purple, as fans at Marlins Park waved their cellphones in the air and sang along.

Later in the show, Beyoncé thanked the legendary singer by saying, “Prince, thank you for your beautiful music,” as she continued to pay homage with one last song, “Nasty Girl.”
