Kanye - Yeezy Season 3

To be honest, even though the stream through Tidal was available, you didn’t have to watch to know everything that happened at Yeezy Season 3, Twitter was your best friend. This afternoon (February 11) fans piled into Madison Square Garden, local movie theaters or watched via their respective devices and were able to experience Kanye West’s new collection along with the premiere of his new album T.L.O.P. and the announcement of a new Video game IP.

If you tuned in or were in attendance you heard the album and saw the new collection you got way more than you bargained in appearances, the most high profile one was Lamar Odom. The former Los Angeles Lakers star made his first appearance since his unfortunate incident in Nevada and joined the Kardashians as Ye carried on the events of the evening.

Aside from the NBA Champion grabbing some spotlight, Vic Mensa and Young Thug were around to not only support their big brother in Kanye but to grab the aux cord and show what they had in store further down the road in 2016.

Notable moments from the premiere of The Life of Pablo include ear-catching appearances from Chance the Rapper and Future, along with Yeezy coming through on this promise that the album is a Gospel album with the inclusion of Kirk Franklin sampled sermons. Also, we thought they were cool, maybe they still are, but Kanye does not censor himself when it comes to the popularity of Taylor Swift, claiming he made her famous. That will be sure to ruffle the feathers of her fans across the world.

One of the more interesting pieces was seeing everyone in attendance. Kanye gave a shoutout to Jay Z who was in attendance, Kid Cudi, Young Thug, Pusha T and more could be seen on camera, while reports from Complex state 50 Cent, 2 Chainz, Frank Ocean, Wale and more were chilling in the vicinity.

To wrap up the evening Kanye showed another piece of his creativity is brewing by debuting the trailer for a video game honoring his mother. Titled, “Only One,” the same as a recent single, the object of the game is to guide Kanye’s mother, Donda West, to the gate’s of heaven. The game is being produced by film and animation studio Encyclopedia Pictura.

Details on the game are short right now as we only have the trailer. No release date or console has been confirmed. The genre is apparently “endless runner,” comparable to “Super Mario Run” and similar cheap PC games. Though there is speculation the game is an iPhone exclusive as that is Kanye’s favored phone and potential market. The trailer and tweets showing all of the action are below.
