Mac Miller has had a rollercoaster career since his first mainstream mixtape K.I.D.S. was released towards the end of 2010. He blossomed into superstardom soon after that with the release of his debut album Blue Slide Park and has been on an upward path ever since.

During his path to success, Mac began to face trials and tribulations, and found himself expereincing drug addiction, depression, and also changed quite a bit musically speaking. Teaming up with The FADER, Mac has opened up on these past struggles in a new documentary titled “Stopped Making Excuses.”

We all go through things in life, and it’s not about what you face, but instead how you respond to it. This documentary focuses on Mac finding that moment where he realized a change was needed, and thankfully he was able to make it.

Check out the incredible documentary below courtesy of The FADER. Salute to Mac for being so open and willing to discuss these things with us.
