The undeniable success of 50 Cent’s urban drama Power seems to be opening a lot of doors for the rap mogul.
Today it was announced that 50 will be co-executive producing yet another project. This time around the Queens rapper is set to take on a new sitcom titled My Friend 50 on FOX alongside producer Will Packer.
According to Deadline, the single camera series project follows Amanda Kramer, “an unstable twenty-something who believes that joining 50 Cent’s entourage is the answer to all her problems.” Her unlikely journey with 50 Cent’s crew takes the form of a bizarre documentary commissioned by the most unreliable narrator in history: Amanda.
But it doesn’t end there for 50. He is also set to executive produce a new series for SundanceTV called Dream School.
