Kobe Bryant Says 2015 Will Be His Last Season

The time has unfortunately come for Lakers fans to say “good-bye” to the Black Mamba.

The Players’ Tribune posted a letter from the record breaking Kobe Bryant on this season being his last. After admitting his “legs aren’t what they use to be,” he made the decision to “let [basketball] go.” Bryant has continued to have the support of his team and coach, Byron Scott, throughout his rough season of injuries.

Kobe Bryant will leave the NBA not only the highest paid athlete in the league (a 2-year $25 million contract), but also one of the most talented.
