The Weeknd is currently on his “The Madness” Tour delighting fans with his smooth sound, but during his latest stop in his hometown of Toronto, the R&B crooner welcomed Ed Sheeran on stage.

During last night’s show (November 5th), Ed and Abel surprised the crowd as they joined in collaboration for a “Dark Times” performance.

Of course, right before bringing his good friend on stage, The Weeknd praised Ed Sheeran with a few kind words by saying, “I’ve written with a lot of people in my life, but he is the fastest and most talented songwriter I’ve every worked with, ever. He worked so fast, if we stayed in the studio another week, we could have had a full album maybe.”
