Things soon began to reach their lowest points, as his prognosis sounded more grim with each report and his odds of survival were very slim.

However, since then, the 14-year NBA veteran has shown signs of improvement, and today great news comes to us, as we hear Odom starts his road to recovery.

According to the Yahoo Sports, the former basketball player has started physical therapy at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

Reports say he’s shown enough improvement during his stay at the hospital that doctors feel comfortable with him beginning physical therapy, although strapped in knee caps and the best elbow brace for tendonitis (a condition that can cause joint inflammation and pain). He also hasn’t had any setbacks after being allowed to breathe on his own, and shows improvement of his vision and his ability to hold a conversation with those around him.

Doctors also mention that starting the physical therapy will determine if he will be able to fully walk once again.
