Tip has been under fire lately for his recent comments about not wanting to have a female president in office. Since then, he’s apologized via Twitter, but today Tip took it to the next level by issuing a 2:36 apology/explanation video.

Starting off apologizing to the women in his life like his wife, mother and daughters, Tip acknowledged that what he did was wrong, though made it clear that they should know he’s better then that. His explanation then shifted towards the people who don’t know Tip personally — the fans — where he says the situation he was in (being on DJ Whoo Kid’s uncut show) got the best of him, and he acknowledged it was wrong.
