When R&B fans reflect back on what many argue as the “Golden Era” of the genre in the 1990’s, there are many names and tunes that come to mind immediately. Boyz II Men is certainly at the top of that list, as the group quickly became a staple male group, singing some of the most incredible harmonic songs that soothed millions of souls. From hopping on tracks with the top rappers, to making an iconic appearance in an episode of The Fresh Prince during the show’s peak season, the guys most certainly contributed greatly to R&B’s signature sound, as well as pop culture in general.

Fast forward to today, the guys may be one member down, but trust and believe, they are still going as strong as ever on the microphones. Performing at their Las Vegas residency, Nathan, Wanya, and Shawn are still melting the hearts of all ages, as their voices are still as powerful and smooth as the day they were signed, with absolutely no lip syncing necessary. The trio might have an old school mind set with their sound, but they aren’t closed minded to the newer generation’s sound. We got a chance to chat with Nathan, Wanya, and Shawn, where they spoke on the state of R&B today, The Fresh Prince, as well as their most proud moment, which may surprise you.
