It was a good night to be in NYC yesterday (September 26), as thousands witnessed some of music biggest names come together to end world poverty at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival.

The music festival which was free to the public, took place in Central Park and included performances from Pearl Jam, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and Beyonce.

As it was expected, Queen Bey dominated the night as she rocked her one hour long performance. The “Sweet Dreams” singer took the NYC crowd by surprise when she brought out the first lady Michelle Obama, and shortly after, performed with Ed Sheeran and Pearl Jam.

Sheeran and Bey amazed the audience when they delivered  Beyonce’s smash hit “Crazy in Love,” while the grammy-winner also joined legendary rock band Peal Jam with a soulful cover to Bob Marley’s “Redemption” song.

However, Beyonce stoled the night when she shared some beautiful words with Michelle Obama. The singer told the crowd, “I am honored to follow a woman whom I admire and adore, someone who believes as passionately as I do, the boundless promise of girls worldwide.”
