It’s been a long time coming for Fetty Wap, and after much patience from the hip-hop community, fans can finally get their hands on a full debut album. The Paterson native has taken over the charts all summer with with not one, but four singles in the Hot 100 at one consecutive time, and he’s selling out shows left and right. It’s quite evident that Fetty is beyond the one-hit-wonder speculation, and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

There have certainly been high expectations for this debut project from the hip-hop vocalist, since it’s the first project he’s given to fans, skipping any EP or mixtape altogether. Fans and critics are ready to see how Fetty does for a straight 18-track listen, rather than through the ears of individual singles. With no major name guests, Fetty recruits those closest, and most loyal to him as his song’s features, including his right-hand Monty, who can be heard on seven of them.

From some intimate crooning, to his hardcore flow, Fetty gives us a taste of every musical flavor, flaunting his diverse style. See the 5 standout tracks from Fetty Wap on a new edition of our First Listen series.
