raury unveils all we need debut album cover

Yesterday afternoon (September 9), RAURY made a splash by announcing the release date, cover art and track list for his long-awaited debut album All We Need. We found out the album is dropping on October 16th and will feature Big K.R.I.T., RZA, Key! and Tom Morello.

Keeping the anticipation high, RAURY hits us with a brand new video off of the album titled “Friends” which features the aforementioned Tom Morello. The storyline video based on a true story was directed by Duncan Winecoff, who follows RAURY on his road trip journey from Atlanta to Chicago along with his many ‘friends’ who he initially connected with via social media.

Here’s what RAURY said about his new single:

“I’ve realized a lot in my 19-years of existence. Most importantly, I’ve found out that I’m a bit naive. Someday I do believe the human race will let go of all the very unimportant things that separate us from the bigger goal,” he says of “Friends.” “Everything you see in the video happened in real life. It was a special experience to have friends I talk to on Twitter be down to pick me up and ride with me to Chicago. I made more friends because of the video. Family and friends are a privilege to have and I don’t take them for granted.”

Isn’t that what music’s all about? Watch RAURY’s video for “Friends” above and pre-order/get access to All We Need early here.
