Post Malone is doing what every celebrity should do when they’re under hot water — get back to their craft. For Post, that’s rapping, and his latest release is an interesting one to say the least.

Remixing 50 Cent’s hit record “Window Shopper,” the “White Iverson” rapper drops a new song titled “#Mood” and it sounds awesome. He doesn’t directly speak on the “n word” video that has everyone talking, but there were several notable bars where it felt like he was addressing it.

It should be noted that Post addressed his use of the “n word” in an interview with DJ Drama, where he apologized and acknowledged how wrong it was, despite the video being very old.

For the new remix, Post sang and used 50’s hook, which added some flavor to the song, then rapped over the 1st verse with the normal beat, and by the end he threw in some chopped and screwed sounds giving it the southern feel. Well done, Post.
