Fool’s Gold Record’s ‘DAY OFF’ Returns To Brooklyn with Meek Mill, Fabolous & more

Fool’s Gold Records‘ annual Labor Day show, DAY OFF happened yet again at 50 Kent, an outdoor Williamsburg venue (Brooklyn, NY). The event, which was originally exclusive to New York City, had already successfully hit Los Angeles (8/29) and Atlanta (9/5). After last night’s show (9/7), they are on their way to party it up in Miami (9/13) and Austin (9/19).

The Labor Day show lineup included Towkio, A-Trak, Flatbush Zombies, Skepta, Post Malone, Brenmar (who also brought out a few guests and his personal twerk team), D.R.A.M., Falcons, Bosco, Leaf, Fame School, and Meek Mill.

The crowd wasn’t hype in the beginning, but Fool’s Gold Record’s co-owner A-Trak made sure he kept the “DAY OFF” legacy strong by throwing out free merch and bringing out some surprise guests, such as ILoveMakonnen, Fabolous, and A$AP FERG –which woke up the crowd tremendously.

The show, co-sponsored by Complex, started at 4 PM. Around 9:40pm, Meek Mill’s performance began, which was then interrupted by someone in the crowd holding up a Drake sign. The Philly rapper confronted him from the stage, sending over one of his crew members into the crowd to keep the sign down.

Fool’s Gold’s day party was successful yet again, ending the night with no fights and a good ass time for everyone. The KarenCivil.com team was in attendance and captured great photos from the fun-filled event. Check em out below!
