That’s a wrap ladies and gentlemen — the 2015 Made In America festival is officially in the books. After two action-packed, music-filled days, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philly can finally return to some level of normalcy. As you saw from us yesterday, Day 1 of Made In America was incredible with Beyoncé and Meek Mill performing, but in most fans’ eyes, Day 2 took the cake.

It started off around 2:30 pm when Fabolous took the Liberty Stage for an early, yet powerful set in Philly. Coming on stage to his recent hit single “Lituation,” Fab went through his laundry list of hit songs and gave Philly a day to remember. The most memorable part of the set, however, is when Loso brought out Philly’s own Young Gunz, who performed “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” and the OG Freeway who set the crowd off with “Made Me Do.” Philly went nuts!

Immediately following Fab’s set was the NY heavyweight (literally) Action Bronson, who was blessed with a main stage spot this year. With the crowd wrapped around his fingers, Bronson played songs from all the way back in 2010, to as recent as his hit single “Baby Blue.” Bronosolini showed Made In America why he was worthy of the main stage.

After Bronson wrapped up, we made our way all the way down the Parkway to the Skate Stage, where we caught Zoe Kravitz and her group Lolawolf. After being delayed for roughly 20 minutes, Zoe (who looks exactly like Lisa Bonet, by the way) and Lolawolf gave the eager fans exactly what they were looking for. The vibes were good and Zoe inc. dealt with the tech issues well.

The night went up a notch around 5:15 pm when the one and only Future graced the Liberty Stage. Arguably the most anticipated set of the day, Future played just about every hit you can think of including DS2 cuts “March Madness,” “F*ck Up Some Commas” and “Trap N**gas,” while also playing popular mixtape cuts like “Monster,” all the way to his classics, such as “Sh*t!” The #FutureHive was alive and breathing in Philly and Future didn’t disappoint in the slightest.

As Future’s set was wrapping up, Detroit’s own Big Sean hit the main stage and per usual, put on a hell of a show. Sean started off playing cuts from his recent album Dark Sky Paradise, including touchy songs like “One Man Can Change The World” and “Paradise,” as well as his number 1 hit “IDFWU,” which Sean closed the night out with. For the day 1 Sean Don fans, the Detroit native took it back and gave us some nostalgia with a performance of “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay.” Amazing set from Sean, who as always, gave the 40,000+ crowd some words of encouragement at the end.

Next up was J. Cole, who from the moment he hit the stage to the moment he left, had the Philly crowd in a literal frenzy. Cole kicked things off running through his platinum album 2014 Forest Hills Drive including songs like “Wet Dreamz,” “Fire Squad,” “G.O.M.D.,” and “Love Yourz,” which was one of his final songs. Cole showed love to his day 1 supporters as well by performing “Work Out,” “Nobody’s Perfect” and more. The Dreamville star closed out his Made In America set with a performance of “Power Trip” giving all of us the feels.

Last but certainly not least is the most exciting crooner in the game — The Weeknd. With his brand new album Beauty Behind The Madness currently atop the billboard charts (and sold 415,267 copies w/ streams in the first week), The Weeknd is flying high and his Made In America set was evident of that. Keeping our attention from start to finish, Abel performed everything from “Often,” to “The Hills” and back to “Can’t Feel My Face.” If there were any questions about why The Weeknd was a headliner at Made In America, they’ve all been answered.

With that being said, check out the following page to see the exclusive photos the KarenCivil.com team got at Made In America courtesy of Charlie Peacher. Enjoy!
