It’s always heartwarming to see rappers impact their communities far beyond their rap lyrics.

Rappers Jadakiss and Styles P are using their popularity and resources to bring a sweeter and more nutritional dessert to low-income communities.

The two created Juices For Life a juice bar company  looking to provide a much-needed place for people in low-income neighborhoods to consume healthier treats. These communities are often referred to as “food deserts,” since access to nutritional food is typically obsolete.

“In the poorer communities, mostly, the money gets invested in liquor stores and the kind of things we don’t need,” Styles P said in a recent press release.

In the video above Styles P and Jadakiss share their new initiative with Elite Daily where they express the importance of this venture.

Although there are only three locations as of now, the rappers plan to expand their mission in the near future.
