The 2015 MTV VMAs are officially in the books and what an amazing night it was. From epic performances from the likes of Nicki Minaj (who put Miley in her place), Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky and more, to well-deserved award recipients and a wacky, free-spirited host in Miley, the show will be talked about for years to come.

One of the most intriguing moments of the evening was when Taylor Swift presented Kanye West with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at this year’s show. As most of us should remember, it was six years ago when Kanye went on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift’s winning speech at the 2009 VMAs, saying Beyoncé deserved to have Video of the Year, not T-Swift. Kanye took a lot of heat for it, but as the years passed, not only did Ye and Tay make up, but they’ve become somewhat friends in the process.
