here's a new west coast sounding pre-order single.

The Game has been readying his The Documentary 2 for some time now, and fans are getting closer and closer to getting their hands on it.

After inviting tons of A-list artists into the studio to hear the highly-anticipated sequel album to his 2005 debut, The Documentary, all that’s left is for the rapper to release it to the music world.

Today, Game has finally revealed the cover art to the project on his Instagram, where he wrote a lengthy caption that even unveiled that the release date is official September 25.

He commented on the details in the cover art in his note to his fans, writing, “I am proud to give you my album cover shot by legend photographer & director @JonathanMannion (who also shot my 1st album cover) & graphic designer @CeoSelfmade for collaborating with Jonathan to bring such a classic image of me on the bridge in my hood….Cedar Block Piru in westside Compton, California.”

This is definitely going to be quite the follow-up to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly, and Dr. Dre’s Compton project from 2015, and the West Coast is really being put heavy onto the map.
