According to TMZ a sequel to Straight Outta Compton is in the works. This time instead of shedding light on N.W.A. it will follow the rise of Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, and Death Row Records.

Daz, who is a member of Snoop Dogg’s Tha Dogg Pound, revealed to TMZ that none of the actors from Straight Outta Compton will be in the movie this go round except Curtis Young, Dr. Dre’s 33 year-old son, will play his father’s role. There aren’t any other details about any other cast members as of yet. Ice Cube isn’t being named as the producer at this point either, but allegedly they have Cube’s blessing. We’ll have more details on the movie as it develops.
