In the past few years, K Camp has become a staple artist for helping us turn up, getting the party going, and even deleting girls out of our lives. His past hit “Cut Her Off” became a huge sensation once users of Vine got their hands on it, incorporating the track into hundreds of 6-second skits. With “Money Baby,” and his more recent record “Lil Bit,” having lit up tons of parties worldwide, the Milwaukee native has switched things up a bit this year as far as his sound goes.

Camp’s new hit song “Comfortable” has quickly become a new favorite amongst those that are planning on being shacked up for cuffing season. The song is so feel-good and lovey dovey that some listeners find it hard to believe that it’s the same K Camp from “Cut Her Off.” “I get people ratchet, but I wanted to do something different and show the versatility of my music,” he says of the explored sound in our new Civil Interview. From the inspiration behind “Comfortable,” to his thoughts on today’s current rap beefs, check out more of K Camp’s brain pickings on the following pages. –Lindsey India
