Fresh from appearing in Janet Jackson’s “No Sleeep” video, J. Cole takes a trip to Jamaica in a new short film to visit Bob Marley’s Studio and promote his new collaboration collection of hiking boots and backpacks.

In the short film, we get to see Cole go away from technology, writing music, and playing acoustic instruments including a piano in Bob Marley’s legendary Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston, Jamaica and an acoustic guitar.

Cole says he always had an interest in what went into designing footwear and fortunately enough had the opportunity to do so. He later continues to say, “I got the chance to work with such a well-respected brand with a long history of making product of the highest quality. When I learned more about the company’s past and was able to see their archives of boots going back over a 100 years, it excited me even more.”
