Apple Music has become one of the top contenders when it comes to music services, and now they have another one-up on the competition.

Dr. Dre’s newly-announced album, Compton: The Soundtrack, is dropping on August 7th this week, but fans who have signed up for Apple Music will be able to hear it earlier than everyone.

The service is set to have the Beats owner’s highly-anticipated album available for streaming a few hours before it drops, releasing to listeners of the app on August 6th.

The full project will be available for listening from the hours of 6 PM-9 PM PST, which is 9 PM-12 AM for East Coast customers.

The announcement was made by Zane Lowe of Beats 1 who tweeted:

We’re hype to finally hear this album sooner than we thought. Are you guys excited?
