Future is killing it these days with packed out free shows, an amazing response to his latest release, and now he is celebrating his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

DS2 is his third studio effort and was released on July 17 (2015) through A-1/Freebandz/Epic Records, with only 7 days of promotion after it was announced on July 10.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The Aug. 8-dated chart will be posted in full to Billboard’s websites on Tuesday, July 28.

Future also tallied his best sales week yet, as DS2 launches with 121,000 albums sold! That more than doubles his last album, 2014’s Honest (53,000.) DS2 featured hit single “Commas,” and only one feature with Drake.

Future’s DS2 is the latest major hip-hop release that arrived with little notice, following No. 1s from Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Drake.

If you haven’t had a chance to listen, you can stream DS2 here.
