The MTV Video Music Awards are commonly known for their outrageous moments and you can expect that this year will be no different with Miley Cyrus as the host. The 2015 MTV Awards will air live on Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 ET/PT from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. With the hosting duties set, the next step towards the MTV Awards will be announcing the nominations, which will happen on Tuesday, July 21 on the Beats 1 “Chart” show from Apple Music. That show will air at 10:00 a.m. ET and will follow with voting on vma.mtv.com.
