UPDATE 2:Things are taking an interesting and worrisome turn. The indictment has been released, which claims that Jimmy Winfrey, aka Peewee Roscoe, called Young Thug prior to shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus in April, and then calling Birdman immediately following the incident. The entire document can be read here. This is getting real ugly, real quick.

UPDATE: According to DJ Academiks, Young Thug has been released on a $10,000 bail early this morning (July 16)

We knew things between Lil Wayne and Birdman were far from repair after a recent incident at Club LIV in Miami but WSB News reports that an indictment alleges that Birdman and Young Thug are involved in a conspiracy with a third man to kill Lil Wayne. The indictment alludes to when Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot up in Atlanta. Within the indictment Birdman and Young Thug aren’t charged but are stated to be working with the third man, Jimmy Winfrey, by Cobb County prosecutors. Also within the indictment is a note of Young Thug’s music video, which shows Winfrey with an assault rifle and lyrics about Lil Wayne as evidence in a pending case. The bad news doesn’t stop there for Young Thug, Police and ATF raided the his home and arrested him on terrorist threat charges after threatening to shoot a security guard at Perimeter Mall. Thug was arrested earlier this morning (July 15). Stay tuned for more updates on the story and check out Mike Petchenik of WSBTV’s tweets below.
