Ottawa Bluesfest had the pleasure of having Kanye West and Chance the Rapper perform at their concert. However, the biggest surprise was for Chance when Kanye shouted him out.

When Kanye was doing his set, he took the time to do something not very “Kanye-ey” of him. He compliment Chance as an artist calling him “one of the most talented young new artists.” Of course coming from Yeezus, that was an amazing boost for the Chicago rapper. As he made the announcement you see Chance jumping and shouting, “That’s all I needed!”

He later tweeted, “I was geeeeeked. Still am.”
