The first season of Empire ended the way it started — explosive! If you haven’t watched the season finale you need to catch up before season two airs on September 23, 2015. The show left us with major anxiety, but also gave us an idea for what to expect on the next season. The ultimate cliffhanger.

Aside from all the drama in the two-hour season one finale, it was also full of guest appearances. We saw Snoop Dogg perform with Hakeem, Jennifer Hudson and Juicy J perform together as well as Jamal and Patti LaBelle.

With season 2 set to kick off in a couple of months, fans can already expect some great celebrity guest stars such as Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, funny guy Chris Rock and now Kelly Rowland who was just confirmed to guest star in the upcoming season. Last but not least (for now) is singer and songwriter Ne-Yo, who will be contributing to Timbaland’s production crew for the accompanying Empire soundtrack. In other words, some of the entertainment world’s biggest names are getting involved.
