Meek Mill

Meek Mill has a lot to celebrate these days, as the Philly spitter earned the number 1 spot on the Billboard charts with his latest album Dreams Worth More Than Money, raking in an impressive 216,173 copies its first week.

The dream chaser paid a visit to Shade 45 to chop it up with DJ Whoo Kid for a nearly 15-minute interview, and touched on a variety of subjects including an unreleased collab Meek has with Nas. The record is tentatively titled “Scarface” and apparently Nas sent his verse back, but after Meek had already turned in his album. Bummer. Hopefully that’ll surface sooner than later.

For the rest of the sit down, Meek spoke on DWMTM‘s success, Nicki Minaj and going on tour, Rick Ross getting out of jail and being targeted, how the Drake collaboration “R.I.C.O.” came about, life after jail and much more.

Check out the exciting interview above and also, click on the following page to see yet another freestyle from Meek on Shade’s 45 “Toca Tuesdays.” He won’t let up!
