Miguel Clarifies His Statements Regarding Frank Ocean
by Staff Editor
The internet went ablaze earlier today when some seemingly negative comments from Grammy award winner Miguel about fellow R&B crooner Frank Ocean surfaced. In an interview he recently did, Miguel had this to say about Frank: “I wouldn’t say we were friends. To be completely honest — and no disrespect to anyone — I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around.” You can see how that can be spun into a jab at Frank.
But, for those hoping for some R&Beef, your wishes won’t be coming true, at least from these two. Miguel took to Twitter this evening (7/6) to clarify his statements about Frank saying, “no need to compare apples to oranges.” See the full tweet below:

Well, as fun as the R&Beef would’ve been, it’s probably best that these two continue to make music and maybe even get in the studio together. Possibility? We’ll have to wait and see.
