Last week, Kidd Kidd made headlines after he was arrested and taken into custody during the XXL Freshman show in New York City, leaving G-Unit to fill his slot on the lineup.

It looks like 50 Cent and the rest of the group took the next big step to hold down their music brother, with reports saying that he has been released from Rikers today after they posted his $105,000 bail.

Some would call him lucky. Many people who have been arrested on various charges are unable to post their set bail amount because they don’t have access to the relevant funds, leaving them to either get in touch with a company that specializes in online bail bonds to post bail for them or if this isn’t a possibility, they will be left in jail until a date has been set for their trial.

XXL reports:

He also posted $100,000 bond after appearing in Supreme Court in front of the Judge Larry Stephen. Stephen instructed Kidd Kidd that he has to turn himself in to New Orleans police by Thursday end of day. He was released right from the courtroom following the hearing and arrangements are being made for him to turn himself into NOLA authorities.

Tony Yayo posted the first photo of Kidd Kidd since his release, captioning it, “Fresh out Rikers.”

The New Orleans rapper was arrested during the XXL show last week due to an out of state warrant for allegedly assaulting and strangling a woman during a domestic dispute. Judge Stephen believes that the allegations “are totally baseless.”
