Even though it’s been an exact decade since Will Smith’s last album, he’s said to be getting back in the music scene with some work with Drake to look forward to.

The multi-talented artist called in his son, Jaden’s first broadcast of his radio show on Beats Radio to divulge the big secret. He also gave credit to Jaden for being the inspiration behind the new project, as well as, changing his music writing process.

“I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet but I’m exploring. I’m in a creative ceiling. [Jaden] tells me I have to write out the things I don’t like. I can’t write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out.”

The most interesting thing is that Will has mentioned in the past of having some collaborations with Kanye West under his belt too. It’s assumed the reason none of the tracks have been released is because the former “Fresh Prince” was busy filming Focus. There are hopes now with a little less on his plate, he can get back to his studio work.

There’s no release date for the piece, but whatever song he does with Drake will definitely have great potential, especially if he adds Kanye’s touch. –Breanna Davis
