Tell us about your new, upcoming directorial debut.

“I just directed and finished a film called Skin. It’s my directorial debut, and it’s about skin-bleaching. I’m also producing, and doing a tour going city-to-city called Life Rocks Vision Board workshops, where I do seminars. I’m in between hiatus right now from Single Ladies. I’m moving on.”

What are your own personal thoughts on skin-bleaching?

“Yeah, I have used skin-bleaching before, but only on dark marks. I had no idea that they were bleaching their skin to become a totally different color. That becomes a self-esteem issue. I am for woman that bridge the gap between us feeling good, and being encouraged. I’m glad to be able to shine some light on it.”
