Dreamville’s Own Cozz Drops New Video ‘Western Ave Slaves’

Dreamville’s very own Cozz takes us through his old neighborhood in his new video for “Western Ave Slaves.”

The Charley Mac-directed video shows Cozz in his native L.A streets as he tells a story of a woman going through tough times on West Coast side; later on, he paints the outcome of those who pull through tough times and temptations. Cozz says the name of this single came after he was raised on a street called “Western Ave” where he witnessed a ton of prostitution and slavery.

You can catch “Western Ave Slaves” on his debut album Cozz & Effect when it drops later this year. In the meantime, watch the video above and don’t forget to see Cozz live when he opens for J. Cole this summer on the Forest Hills Drive Tour. (full dates below) – Lupe Looove
