It’s been a while since we last heard of the whole TDE family together but today, Kendrick Lamar, SchoolBoy Q and the rest of the TDE members paid a visit to Los Angeles for the BET Awards.

The crew was able to sit down to discuss valuable information regarding their career among some other topics with Nessa from Hot 97.

K. Dot discussed his ambitious efforts to go after his own creative mind and direction about his latest album To Pimp A Butterfly. Kendrick mentions, “You have to have a good team behind you that believe me,” he said. “It takes a lot of integrity to not really conform into the politics of the radio, and the politics of what the label wants you to do.”

SchoolBoy Q also touched on working on new music thanks to his new studio at home and says, he’s never had so much fun in life before.
