Victoria Monét is preparing for the release of her Nightmares & Lullabies: Act II EP, on June 16. Until then, the L.A.-based singer-songwriter shares another single, “See The Light.”

Produced by Tommy Brown & Mr. Franks, “See the Light” finds Monét searching for sincerity as she treads through the daily pressures. “The big goal of course is happiness, but not everyday is so bright,” Victoria Monét told The FADER. “So ‘See The Light’ is a song about sharing those feelings with someone special who understands where you’re coming from. After all, those bad days help you appreciate the best days.” This is definitely a favorite, and a must play when you’re feeling blue.
