On Monday (June 1), Tracy Morgan was the special guest of “The Today Show” on NBC, where he spoke with Matt Lauer for the first time since his traffic accident last year. In one of the somber moments of the interview, Morgan, who now uses a cane, sheds tears over the loss of his friend James “Jimmy Mac” McNair and his current health condition.

“There are times where I get the headaches, and the nose bleeds,” Morgan stated. “I won’t even let my lady know because I don’t want her to be worried about it.”

While telling a story about the last time he was with his friend Jimmy Mac, Morgan shared a joke Jimmy wrote for him about Donald Sterling, providing a laugh to the studio audience.

During his time with Matt Lauer, Tracy Morgan thanked family, various medical staff and more before praising Wal-Mart in their efforts after the accident.
