After recent speculations of a potential deal between Drake and Pharrell and Apple’s newly revamped music service, it can now be confirmed according to Billboard.

Though it is still unknown as to what Aubrey and Skateboard P’s role will be with the new service, it was reported by the New York Post last week that those two and David Guetta would lead a group of celebrity “guest DJs” for iTunes Radio. It should also be noted that the rumored $19 million for Drake’s involvement has been denied by a close source stating, “Apple doesn’t normally pay artists for these types of collaborations.” In hindsight, $19 million does sound ridiculous.

Next week (June 8-12) Apple will be unveiling their brand new music service for the first time at Apple’s 2015 Worldwide Developers Conference. Now that we know Drake and Pharrell are involved, we can’t wait to see what other surprises Apple has in store for us.
