It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for! Season 2 of Empire is set to premiere in the fall, September 2015.

The first season of Empire only featured 12 episodes, but the second season, as Entertainment Weekly reported, will feature 18 episodes in two halves. New episodes of Empire are set to begin airing Sept. 23.

You will be able to catch the Lyon family go through it all in the music industry and in life, on Wednesdays at 9pm EST, via Fox.
