Frank Ocean certainly knows how to get our attention. Late last night, the mysterious and private singer uploaded a song-less playlist to Soundcloud titled “states,” which again, includes 0 songs. Talk about the ultimate tease.

We believe Frank is sending some sort of subliminal message about potential new music, but we can’t begin to figure out what that message might be. So, we’ll do what everyone else will do and wait it out.

It’s been three years since Ocean released his critically acclaimed debut album channel ORANGE and while he’s released new music since then, he hasn’t released a full project since. Back in April, we reported about a rumored new album from Frank deemed Boys Don’t Cry and then several weeks later, we found out Frank interviewed the curse-placer Lil B for Frank’s magazine also deemed Boys Don’t Cry. All in all, Frank hasn’t confirmed whether Boys Don’t Cry will be the official title of his upcoming album. We told you Frank was private.
