Wiz Khalifa’s currently riding high (no pun intended) with his new number 1 hit “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth, but it appears that he’s just getting started for the summer. The weed-loving rapper recently linked up with MTV for an improtu interview where he discussed an array of things from the aforementioned single and how it compares to his 2011 number 1 hit “Black & Yellow,” his highly anticipated joint project with Curren$y titled 2009, his upcoming tour with Fall Out Boy deemed “Boys Of Zummer,” his collab with PARTYNEXTDOOR tentatively titled “Hurricane” and more.

When it comes to 2009, Wiz says it’s just a matter of time. “The music is there, and we always gonna be recording and putting stuff out, so we’re just putting the plan together, really. I wanna have the best plan of action so it comes off correctly.” Hopefully that moment comes sooner than later.

Watch Wiz’s full sitdown with MTV above and stay tuned for more information on 2009.
