Born Christopher Edwin Breaux, singer-songwriter Frank Ocean has legally changed his birth name to his stage name. The 27-year-old filed court documents about a year ago but was finally granted the change by a Los Angeles judge this past week.

The R&B crooner is currently preparing for the release of his new album Boys Don’t Cry, the follow up to his Grammy award winning album channel ORANGE. Boys Don’t Cry will be released in July and includes collaborations with Hit-Boy, Lil B, and more. In other words, Frank is ready to make some noise to end out 2015.
