De La Soul reveals a new collaboration with Nas entitled “God It.”  Unfortunately, the G_Force-produced track will not be featured on their eighth album -that they have been raising funds for via Kickstarter.

“While busy at work, we also like to play,” said De La Soul (via Pitchfork). “This song is not on the new album, but an indication of good music to come. We’re still in Atlanta recording and it sounds amazing! We can’t wait to get this new album to you.”

The album will be featuring 2 Chainz, Little Dragon, David Byrne and more. With 11 days left to raise $110,ooo, the group has already accomplished that goal and has raised $472,000. Congratulations guys!
