The Official Trailer for ‘Dope’ Has Been Released

A trailer for the movie Dope, the new coming of age story for “90s hip-hop lovers”, has finally been released.

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and received some positive reviews. The film features rapper ASAP Rocky in his big screen debut, actress/singer Zoe Kravitz and veteran actor Forest Whitaker. The 90s-inspired movie will also include cameos from other rappers including Vince Staples and Casey Veggies. The film was directed by Rick Famuyiwa, who also directed the hip-hop influced rom-com Brown Sugar. To top it all off, hip-Hop heavyweights Diddy and Pharrell Williams served as producers.

Dope hits theaters on June 19th, but until then, watch the exciting trailer above.
