Yesterday the 2015 Coachella Music & Arts Festival took over California the first of two weekends. Hip-hop was present as artist like Vic Mensa, Lil’ B, Action Bronson, Ab-Soul, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah and Azealia Banks all took the stage in front of thousands.

Taking a break from everything else she does in life, Azealia Banks took the stage with her dancers to perform a 30-minute set that was filled with some of the favorites from her Broke With Expensive Taste album and 1991 EP.

Bringin in their Wu-Tang flare, Ghosftace Killah and Raekwon ended their set with a blast from the past performing Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” however, the duo rocked the crowd for with an array of hits from their classic discography.

Dressed comfortably in a black tee and shorts, Action Bronson took the stage took the rock the crowd and hop in the madness, which has become customary for the NYC rhyme slayer.

Vic Mensa was also on hand for the festivities, took over the stage fitted in all black bringing an abundance of energy to the stage, running through a catalog of his fan favorites. Also, if you missed it his latest track “U Mad,” be sure to check it out.
