We know and love Miguel for his singing and songwriting capabilities but now we may fall in love all over again with the artist as an actor. The “How Many Drinks” crooner may make his acting debut in a feature film produced by John Legend.

According to Variety, negotiations are in process to have Miguel play a one-hit wonder who makes his return to music when asked to coach another singer.

Production for the project will begin in September and take place in Philadelphia. Director Nabil Elderkin, who also directed Legend’s “All of Me” video, will lead the project.
