Chicago took over The Breakfast Club this morning courtesy of the female rapstress known as Tink. The Chi-town rapper is proud to represent her city but won’t be putting out the typical drill sound we’ve become accustomed to.

“Coming out of Chicago, that’s all people from Chicago know,” she told the hosts. “I had to separate myself in order to get that recognition because for the most part there’s violence in Chicago and growing up there it is a very tough city to come from. It’s like my responsibility to let kids know that’s not all you got to be about.”
